Signatories

The institution of Signatories was introduced at Intersputnik as set forth in the Protocol of November 4, 2002 on Amendments to the Agreement on the Establishment of the Intersputnik System and Organization of Space Communications.

A Signatory is a telecommunications entity appointed by an Intersputnik Member, for which the Intersputnik Operating Agreement entered into force.

The procedure to be followed to be granted Signatory status is as follows:
  • appointment by the Member of the Organization with notice to the Director General of Intersputnik;
  • payment by the appointed Signatory of the mandatory investment in Intersputnik’s Share Capital;
  • signing of the Intersputnik Operating Agreement by such Signatory.

To date, the governments of the Organization member countries have appointed the following twenty five Intersputnik Signatories:
