Using its teleports Isatel LLC monitors the satellite frequency spectrum in Intersputnik’s interests by on-line gathering and processing data related to carriers in satellite transponder leased by Intersputnik to its customers.

This system monitors carriers using an earth station and carrier database, determines the value and periods of parameter departures from normal. Intersputnik’s technical service has on-line access to spectrum plots and frequency plans. Special attention is paid to the analysis of external and internal interference so that it can be immediately located and eliminated. Engineers on duty will always help customers adjust cross-polarization separation and find out why carrier performance has deteriorated. The monitoring system broadens the range of services offered by Intersputnik and Isatel LLC and helps maintain service quality.
