Lease of space segment capacity to set up satellite networks

Intersputnik’s core business is leasing satellite capacity to telecommunications operators, broadcasters and corporate customers under agreements with partner operators.

In the Intersputnik system, customers have direct access to the space segment nearly anywhere on the globe on a non-discriminatory basis without political or administrative limitations. Today, our customers are public and private companies in over forty countries from the U.S. East Coast to Kamchatka peninsula and from Russia’s Far North to South Africa and Australia.

Intersputnik offers its customers the following satellite capacity lease options:

• long-term lease for 24/7 service or regular video broadcasting during time slots assigned by the customer, establishment of voice channels, digital carriers or regional/domestic VSAT networks (subject to a bilateral agreement between the Intersputnik Directorate and the customer);
• on-demand capacity allocation for occasional digital video broadcasting during a time slot assigned by the customer (subject to a bilateral agreement between the Intersputnik Directorate and the customer and the customer’s booking of this service).
